Lakewood Detailing was started by Hayden Forde at 18 years old over summer break. What began as a hands-on way to work around cars became a mobile detailing business built on care, consistency, and the satisfaction of seeing a vehicle transformed.

The Story
Hayden started Lakewood Detailing at 18 while he was on summer break. Instead of waiting around or treating it like a side idea, he put the work in, started taking details seriously, and built the business one vehicle at a time.
When school started back up, the work did not stop. Hayden kept fitting details in after school, learning how to manage time, serve customers, and deliver the kind of clean that makes people notice the difference as soon as they open the door.
The part that keeps him excited is the transformation. A dusty daily driver, a family vehicle full of crumbs, or a work truck that has seen a hard week can leave looking and feeling completely different. That before-and-after is what Lakewood Detailing is built around.

Do you come to my home or workplace?
Yes. Lakewood Detailing is mobile, so we come to your home, workplace, or another approved location in the Bismarck-Mandan area.
Do you need water or power?
In most cases, we bring what we need. If a specific service requires access to water or power, we’ll confirm that with you before your appointment.
How long does a detail usually take?
Most details take between 2 and 5 hours depending on the package, vehicle size, and condition. Heavier messes, pet hair, stains, or odor issues may take longer.
What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
If weather makes it hard to complete your detail properly, we’ll contact you to reschedule for the next available opening.
Can you detail my vehicle while I’m at work?
Yes. As long as we have access to the vehicle and enough room to work safely, we can detail it while you’re at work.
What if my vehicle is really dirty?
That’s fine. We handle daily driver messes, kid messes, work vehicles, pet hair, stains, salt, crumbs, and built-up grime. If the vehicle needs extra time or an add-on, we’ll let you know before starting.
Do I need to remove my personal items first?
Yes, please remove personal belongings, valuables, car seats, and anything you don’t want moved before your appointment. This helps us clean more thoroughly and protects your items.
Do you offer pet hair or stain removal?
Yes. Pet hair removal, deeper stain treatment, odor treatment, and other problem-specific services can be added depending on the vehicle’s condition.
